These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the CallHandler AI platform, services, and any associated AI agents (including, but not limited to, Peggy). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use CallHandler AI.
1. Who we are
CallHandler AI is a UK-owned and operated service provided by Square Peg Innovations Limited ("we", "us", "our"). We provide AI-powered call handling and conversational services designed to support service-based organisations.
2. Our services
We provide AI agents that can handle inbound and outbound calls, integrate with third-party platforms, and perform tasks defined by you during setup.
Our AI agents:
- Work alongside your team, not instead of them
- Operate within the rules and guardrails you approve
- Are designed to sound natural and conversational
We do not provide clinical, medical, legal, or financial advice.
3. Setup and onboarding
A one-off setup fee applies to configure your AI agent around your business. You are responsible for providing accurate, lawful and up-to-date information, including scripts, policies, pricing and workflows.
We are not responsible for errors caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.
4. Use of third-party platforms and third-party integrations
Where you choose to integrate CallHandler AI with third-party platforms or other third-party platforms:
- You confirm you have the authority to grant access
- Data is accessed only as required to deliver agreed functionality
- We are not responsible for downtime, errors, or changes caused by third-party platforms
Integrations rely on third-party APIs and may change or become unavailable without notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use CallHandler AI:
- For unlawful, misleading or deceptive purposes
- To impersonate individuals or misrepresent your organisation
- To collect or process data without appropriate consent
- To provide medical or clinical advice to patients
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse.
6. AI behaviour and limitations
While our AI agents are designed to be highly accurate and reliable, you acknowledge that:
- AI is not infallible
- Outputs are based on provided data and rules
- Human oversight remains your responsibility
CallHandler AI does not provide clinical triage, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or medical advice. All clinical decisions remain the responsibility of qualified healthcare professionals.
You should not rely solely on AI for critical or safety-sensitive decisions.
7. Call recording and consent
Calls handled by our AI agents may be recorded or transcribed for quality, training, and operational purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring that callers are informed of call recording and that any required consent is obtained in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
8. Pricing, billing and payment
Pricing consists of:
- A one-off setup fee
- A monthly licence fee
- Usage-based call charges billed per second or minute
All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
Invoices are payable in accordance with agreed payment terms. Late payments may result in suspension of services.
9. No contracts, cancellation and suspension
We do not lock customers into long-term contracts.
You may cancel your service at any time by providing written notice. Charges incurred up to the cancellation date remain payable.
We may suspend services if payments are overdue or if Terms are breached.
9. Data protection and privacy
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Details of how we collect, store and process personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy.
You remain the data controller for customer and patient data processed via the service.
10. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public, commercially sensitive or proprietary information shared during the relationship.
11. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the CallHandler AI platform, technology and AI agents remain our property.
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service while subscribed.
12. Service availability and service evolution
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Maintenance, updates, improvements or factors outside our control may result in temporary downtime.
As part of ongoing development, features and functionality may evolve over time. We will not materially reduce core service functionality without reasonable notice.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from:
- Your misuse of the service
- Breach of these Terms
- Unlawful processing of data
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
